Description of Auditing Services for ARCHIMED INTERREG IIIB

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 438/2001, Member States have to organize random sampling checks of the Lead Partners and Partners of the operations co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). In this framework, the Member States, represented by the Financial Control Group (FCG) for the ARCHIMED INTERREGIIIB program, intend to audit the efficiency of the management and control systems used to implement the projects. Furthermore the expenditure declared to the program bodies will be checked. The audits, in Greece and in other member states participating in the ARCHIMED program, have been contracted to the external auditor group “ADVICE SA, BDO SA & ECOPOLIS SA” after an open tender.
